Each day is a struggle to be a better man than the day before. This is something that I truly work towards. There is a strange battle between understanding that I am enough the way that I am today and understanding that I will always have things to learn and improve upon. It is important to me that I allow my values to shape the decisions that I make. Because of this, I never have an issue with looking at myself in the mirror. I still have quite a way to go when it comes to being confident with the physical image that I see. This is something that I will always need to try and improve upon for my own health and longevity. What do you see when you look in the mirror? Hopefully, you see a person that is enough but also is excited about what they can learn and improve upon today.
Distraction is seen as a negative. Even the definition states that distraction is “a thing that prevents someone from giving full attention to something else.” While that can be seen as mostly negative, we here at The Distraction Blog believe that distraction can be an extremely helpful, and dare we say, important part of life. We embrace the things that help us enjoy and celebrate life. We celebrate things like music, movies, literature, food, and travel for the role that they play. The mission of this blog is to embrace distraction and come together as a group of distracted individuals attempting to understand each other a little bit better.
