Most days our perspective is what truly guides our perception. We can choose to see things in different ways and based on that decision have very different emotions. Understanding that the emotions that we carry with us have an impact on our health, success, relationships, etc. is extremely important. Once we understand this truth we can work to better react to the inopportune situations. We are in control of our perspective. We own how we move forward each day. Take control, shift your perspective, and see if things start looking up.
Distraction is seen as a negative. Even the definition states that distraction is “a thing that prevents someone from giving full attention to something else.” While that can be seen as mostly negative, we here at The Distraction Blog believe that distraction can be an extremely helpful, and dare we say, important part of life. We embrace the things that help us enjoy and celebrate life. We celebrate things like music, movies, literature, food, and travel for the role that they play. The mission of this blog is to embrace distraction and come together as a group of distracted individuals attempting to understand each other a little bit better.
