Happiness can be tricky and elusive. The issue with happiness is our attempt to obtain it. We try to find happiness in things, people, places, experiences, etc. Trying to find happiness in other “things” gives away our power. Once we attach happiness to something external there are too many ways that it can be taken away. Once we see that happiness is all about our perspective, our internal thoughts, we can start to see it more clearly. It is very difficult to ignore the power of negativity in our lives but understand that happiness can be felt in small amounts throughout the day. It can help overcome the negativity.
